Forum:ZEXAL 2?

There appears to be a new Zexal named ZeXal II. I havent seen much sources about it and whats happening. So is the ZeXal II a new series (like GX, 5D's etc.) or just a new arc? (WDC arc. etc) Will it have some time skip like GX Season 4? If its truly a new series, will it have a new protagonist or still keep Yuma? If its still the same characters will they have new design or clothes? So many questions lol as i cant find much source about it or its in japanese ----SharkTenjo 08:26, September 8, 2012 (UTC)

Basically, the TV Tokyo provided no answers for your questions at the moment. It just announced a new series called Zexal II will be broadcasted from October 7 every Sunday at 5:30 pm (JST) on TV Tokyo and more information about this will be revealed in the broadcast on September 10 (along with episode 71 ZeXal) if you want to know.

From what we get at the moment, you can assume it's a new season of ZeXal, with the new characters: Shingetsu Rei, Gilag, Rio Kastle added to the main cast. Maybe we will see some retirements of main characters in the old cast (e.g.: Shark or Kite Tenjo). Sure that Yuma will be the main protagonist still, because the name Zexal we have is based on his power ZEXAL and there still lots of things about it hasn't been explained yet. Well, it's highly possible that it's just the second season of the series, much like Pokemon:Best Wishes and Pokemon:Best Wishes 2. Though unlike the latter, who are meant to link to the games Pokemon Black/White and Pokemon Black 2/White 2, I fail to see the need of adding 2 to the title just because of the start of a new season. I've read a fan translation that said Yuma, Kaito and Shark will still be the main trio along with Astral and those new characters and it takes place shortly after the battle against Faker. The main enemy will be the Barian World and Yuma and Astral will keep on hunting Numbers. Also for the first episode Yuma and Kotori are going to visit Rio in the hospital together with Shark. Well i think Shark and Kaito will NOT retire. Shark will return as his sister is still present and with her added to the main cast, it will need Shark for explainations though i would expect the useless characters (Flip, Cathy, Caswell) to retire much like what happened to Chumley in GX. I think the arclight brothers especially III will return and oviously Mr. Heartland will return for revenge gaining power from the Astral World ----SharkTenjo 14:45, September 8, 2012 (UTC)
