Many times, the [[Card Effect]]s of Fairy monsters involve some restoration and protection of the player's [[Life Points]].

"[[Cloudians]]" are [[WATER]] but share the Fairy Type, so can also use "The Sanctuary in the Sky" as one of their main gameplay elements. Other high [[ATK]] fairies include "[[Wingweaver]]" and "[[Majestic Mech - Goryu]]". Another powerful, but risky, archetype are the "[[Arcana Force]]", noted for gaining effects depending on coin tosses yet features two of the strongest Fairy-[[Type]] monsters in the game; "[[Arcana Force Ex - the Light Ruler]]" and "[[Arcana Force EX - The Dark Ruler]]". "[[Guardian Angel Joan]]" is a well known Fairy-type monster, both for having a very effective Life Points gain effect and for having very high stats for a Level 8 monster. Another well known archetype are the "Parshaths", composed of "[[Airknight Parshath]]", his DARK counterpart "[[Darknight Parshath]]", the [[Synchro Monster]] version "[[Avenging Knight Parshath]]", and Airknights upgraded version "[[Neo-Parshath, the Sky Paladin]]", who can easily get his [[ATK]] as well as a players Life Points in the tens of thousands. An upcoming archetype called the "[[Vairon]]" will be released in the [[Duel Terminal]] series, focusing upon gaining effects while equipped [[Equip Spell Cards]].
