Changes

After one [[Shuffle|shuffles]] their [[Main Deck]] before a [[Duel]], they must hand it over to the opponent for a shuffle, and a procedure known as a '''cut'''. To cut a deck, one must gently take small stacks from the Deck, and put them back in a different order.

When [[Yami Yugi]] and [[Arkana]] dueled, Arkana trimmed the edges of his "[[Dark Magician (Arkana)|Dark Magician]]" cards so that when Yugi cut his deck, he would inadvertently cut it at the point where the "Dark Magician" would be on top of a small stack, ensuring that one of the card would be at the top of the entire deck. Yugi, however, saw through this strategy due to Arkana using the card-damaging "shotgun shuffle" and devised a [[Card Destruction|counter]] against it.
