Tristan is seen when [[Jaden Yuki|Jaden]] is taken to the past to Duel against the younger Yugi, he picks up a flyer that has a picture of [[Yugi Muto|Yugi]], [[Téa Gardner|Téa]], Tristan, [[Joey Wheeler|Joey]] and [[Seto Kaiba|Kaiba]].<ref>{{episode|Yu-Gi-Oh! GX|179|ref}}</ref>
He also appears to make a cameo in the 8th episode as a silhouette as Syrus imagines himself causing Jaden to lose the tag team match that they are due to take part in to keep from being expelled.<ref>[http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Yu-Gi-Oh!_GX_-_Episode_8]</ref>
