After Duelist Kingdom, Toon monsters were changed to more closely match their ''OCG''/''TCG'' selves.

Although "Ancient Gear Golem" transformed into a Toon monster through the effect of "[[Comic Hand (anime)|Comic Hand]]", it did not exist as a separate card (like the ''Duelist Kingdom'' Toon monsters) and was never named as "Toon Ancient Gear Golem".
