Yuga is terrified of ladybugs due to an incident in his youth where [[Nana Nanahoshi]] claimed her ladybug hat was a ladybug that was eating her from the head down. As a result a ladybug touching him causes him to react violently and freeze in terror. When he met Nana again and saw her hat he was so terrified that he threatened to overload the power plant of the [[Goha Enterprises Main Office]] just to destroy the ladybug, continuously insisting to himself that ladybugs weren't scary.
During the course of Yu-Gi-Oh! Go Rush, Yuga tends to display a sense of mystery to his actions as he often arrives and leaves swiftly before others can take notice, in a similar manner to Otes.
