* Unlike other Yu-Gi-Oh games, Duel Links mainly focuses on anime events and characters to release new cards.
** New cards are constantly released with in-game events.
** Each new Special Summoning method was introduced with their respective Duel World releases (Synchro Monsters with 5D's World, Xyz Monsters with ZEXAL World, Pendulum Monsters with ARC-V World, Link Monsters with VRAINS World, and Maximum Monsters with SEVENS World).
** Most characters release with a Main/Mini BOX or a Structure Deck featuring cards related to them.
