Summary
"Iron Golem Gorogon" uses his special attack, "Rolling Crush", and destroys "Bomb Lizard" and "Lizard Dragon". Yugi cheers; his Dungeon Master lost one life, but he beat two of Ryuji's creatures. Ryuji smiles, thinking that Yugi's not doing too badly; he's never played D.D.M in his life and he's already using advanced tactics like the "delayed dimension". Yugi states that the Millennium Puzzle is like his second heart, and he won't let Ryuji have it. As he and Ryuji stare one another down, Ryuji chuckles, admitting that the first time he saw Yugi he thought he was a timid little nerd, but he takes that back; he's not surprised that Yugi solved the Millennium Puzzle. Yugi wonders why Ryuji is after the Millennium Puzzle. He thinks that Ryuji said that his father and Yugi's grandpa fought over the Millennium Puzzle long ago, and his grandpa won. He wonders if Ryuji is trying to take revenge for his father. Ryuji thinks that of course revenge is a part of it, and Yugi and his grandfather will pay for what they did to Ryuji's father, but more than that, Ryuji wants to beat Yugi, the one who solved the Millennium Puzzle. His heart is set on this, and he will win this battle and become the new heir to the legend.
He tells Yugi that it's his turn, and Yugi silently accepts his challenge. He draws a new dice, thinking that he won't lose. He surveys his field, thinking that as long as "Gorogon" remains guarding, the enemy shouldn't be able to attack his Dungeon Master, but he can't win the game just by defending, he has to get to Ryuji's side of the Dungeon and reach his Dungeon Master. He rolls his dice, getting an Attack Crest and two Summon Crests. He celebrates his Summon, and he declares "Dimension Dice", summoning "Duker of Twin Swords". He notes that he isn't ready to attack yet, so he'll save his Attack Crests for later in his Crest Pool. Ryuji agrees; Yugi doesn't have to use the Crests on the turn he summons a creature; once it's stored in his Crest Pool, it can be used at any time.
