Psychic Dueling is a dangerous type of dueling within ''[[Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's]]''.
A Psychic Duel, however, is quite unique. It only occurs whenever a individual who possesses special abilities or powers known as a "Psychic Duelist" is involved. From what has been seen on the series, these individuals are not only able to summon and materialize their monsters and effects for real in the duel, but they are also able to inflict actual damage to their opponent.
So far, only [[Akiza Izinski]] and [[Sayer]] have been seen as being able to exhibit this ability with the effects of their [[Duel Monsters]] cards. [[Toby]] was also a psychic duelist, but he was never shown using his powers before his death.
However, it has been shown that this individuals can actually choose whether or not to inflict real damage to their opponents, which is clearly noticeable during Akiza´s Akiza's [[Turbo Duel]] against [[Tetsu UshioTrudge|Trudge]].
Like in a "[[Shadow Duel]]", a Psychic duel Duel is also capable of causing damage and destruction to wherever the Duel is taking place.
