Missing the timing?[edit]

Let's say I have Alien Ammonite and Alien Dog in my hand.

If I Normal Summon Alien Ammonite (and activate its effect to Summon another Alien), can I activate Alien Dog?

Rulings only say that I cannot activate two Alien Dogs when I Normal Summon 1 Alien. K.White 22:14, 28 June 2009 (UTC)

Yes,you miss the timing. 1)You Normal Summon Alien Ammonite and trigger its effect. 2)You Special Summon let' say Alien Kid. 3)You try to trigger the Trigger Effect of Alien Dog but the Normal summoning of Alien Ammonite is not the last action that happened on the field.--LightswornLord 09:46, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

On Special Summoning[edit]

If you have 2 Alien Dogs in your hand, can you Normal Summon 1 of them and then Special Summon the other one when the first one is Normal Summoned?

When he is Special Summoned[edit]

Just to make sure I have been playing this card right... What Alien Dog's effect says is that when it is special summoned in the way stated on the card, I can put 2 counters on EVERY face up monsters my opponent controls. Right? Or do I just put 2 counters TOTAL on face up monsters my opponent controls?

  • Let me word the card effect in another way to make it more clear. You can DISTRIBUTE 2 A-counters among face-up monsters your opponents control, so you don't put 2 counters on every monster, you choose where the 2 counters go. Swaggs 06:39, 20 July 2009 (UTC)

question ???[edit]

you know every other Alien monster says that when a monster atk an Alien monster with an A counter but on Alien dog it does not say that it need a A counter to lose the atk so i was wondering if i can atk Alien dog with an A counter and not lose atk???

Yes, you can attack it without losing ATK, as long as theres is no face-up monster with the attack-losing lore. 189.151.34.60 20:31, December 17, 2009 (UTC)
