Names[edit]

Since this is a English based site, should the names be the English ones? I doubt most people visiting the site know who "Anzu" is, but they would know who Tea is. 75.95.17.145 05:19, 1 February 2009 (UTC)

That is me, BTW. TJSpyke 05:21, 1 February 2009 (UTC)

  • I think its okay to have the original names, regardless of Japanese format. Simply put that's how the author meant for them to be, and while not hard to figure out their names, they can click and find the link to each character, with their English name visible. Trivia[edit]

In the Trivia Section it is incorrect when it says the Silent Swordsmans' attack should of rose to 4500 instead it reverted back to 2500 and rose to 3000; the card Ambush Shield only lasts during the battle phase so when it became Yugis' turn the effect of Ambush Shield had worn off. So in fact in the battle it is the correct amount of attack points. Right?

Removed now, I checked the card beforehand. It actually says the end phase, but the point is still the same. --Jono R 18:44, October 27, 2009 (UTC)

Rules[edit]

I have 2 questions about this duel: Why isn't Slifer sent to the graveyard at the end of the turn? He was special summoned by spell card, and they can be only affected by spell cards for 1 turn. Also, if I remember correctly, Gods have they're ranking, with The Winged Dragon of Ra being on the top. Why was is affected by Slifer's attack-reducting effect? If anyone could clarify it for me, i'd be grateful ****

If you mean Special Summoned at the very final turn, Slifer's Summon was negated. But if you mean when he was first Summoned, the card he used allowed him to Normal Summon without the need of tributing. And the divine hierarchy thing was only in the manga, otherwise during Marik and Yugi's duel, Ra would have died by Obelisk's effect. Scheepybird (talkcontribs) 17:58, October 4, 2015 (UTC)
If you are going by the order of the GX duel academy, then you are wrong. Even in the anime they established that Ra was most powerful, then Slifer, then Obelisk (in GX, Kaiba created the Duel Academy so he made sure to list Obelisk Blue the most powerful since that was his card and Slifer Red the worst because Slifer was Yugi's). Nope, Scheeps has the right of it. Being the most powerful and the existence of the divine hierarchy are two different things. Sanokal K-T (talkcontribs) 00:42, October 11, 2015 (UTC)
