Are OCG rulings applied when one is playing the TCG? For example if the OCG rulings mention something that the TCG rulings don't, are the OCG rulings used when the TCG is being played or do they not apply? (70.79.195.105 21:57, 8 July 2008 (UTC))

Yes OCG rulings they usually apply to both OCG and TCG. It's only when they directly contradict that they don't, bur the TCG Rulings are usually changed later to match the OCG ones. -- Deltaneos (talk) 22:12, 8 July 2008 (UTC)

question regarding unofficial rulings.[edit]

Are users allowed to add "unofficial rulngs" to the wikia pages if the subject matter of them is not specified in the TCG or OCG rulings already? Blueeyes747 (talkcontribs) 05:55, March 3, 2011 (UTC)

As I mentioned in my edit summary, see the Card Rulings policy.
However, in your case, not only does your 'ruling' violate the Card Rulings policy, since it's unofficial. It is also Wrong. e.g. Chaining MST to Icarus Attack does NOT stop Icarus Attack from destroying the 2 cards it Targeted. Normal Spell/Trap cards do not have to remain on the field to properly resolve. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 05:58, March 3, 2011 (UTC)
In addition to what FalzarFZ says about Normal Spell and Trap Cards, the same rule applies for Quick-Play Spell Cards. DemonGodAsura (talkcontribs) 17:13, March 3, 2011 (UTC)
