Non-RPG timeline[edit]

According to Dark Bakura, when he and Dark Yugi played the Shadow RPG, all the events up to summoning of Zorc Necrophades had also happened in the past, with a few minor changes, and that included Akhenaden placing the items in the tablet.

In the RPG, Dark Bakura used an hourglass to freeze time, allowing Akhenaden to collect the items and put them in the tablet. Since the hourglass was not an option in the original timeline, how did Akhenaden manage to do this?

Thief Bakura turned into sand and disappeared when Dark Bakura no longer had any use for him. That couldn't have happened in the non-RPG course of events, so how did he really die?

The only explanation I can think of is that Dark Bakura used the word "minor" ironically and the events leading up the items being inserted into the tablet were drastically different. -- Deltaneos (talk) 18:26, March 28, 2016 (UTC)

Thief Bakura was probably injured after Diabound was defeated. It's possible that he died when he sacrificed himself to summon Zorc, and possibly Atem's name was a substitute for that. Scheepybird (talkcontribs) 19:13, March 28, 2016 (UTC)
I don't see how he managed to summon Zorc. He didn't have all seven items and the priests had just defeated him in battle. Plus Dark Bakura mentions that it was Akhenaden who put the items in the tablet, not Thief Bakura. I'm not sure what you mean about Atem's name being used as a substitute.
It could be that the priests and Atem kill or arrest Thief Bakura, after defeating Diabound. Akhenaden acquires the items at a later moment in time. The details on how or when are not explored. In the RPG, Dark Bakura takes the opportunity to have him do it immediately after Thief Bakura's failure. -- Deltaneos (talk) 19:21, March 28, 2016 (UTC)
