Card Rulings[edit]

Is the 5000 loss to the current controller of the card when it's destroyed? For example, player A sets The Immortal of Thunder, flips is the next turn, gains 3000. Player A uses creature swap and destroys TIoT on player B's side of the field. Who loses the 5000? 72.161.53.87 03:12, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

So what would happen if player A set TIoT and used Creature Swap without flipping it, then player B flipped TIoT face up, and then it was destroyed? 72.161.53.87 04:16, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
When you reply, could you please tell me WHY so I can relay the information to someone else? Thank youuuu. 72.161.53.87 04:34, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

Heeelp. Please respond! 75.120.179.81 13:35, 15 February 2008 (UTC)

The old man's healing effect targets the current owner of the card, while the damaging effect always applies to the original owner of the card. This is because cards you own go to your grave when destroyed, and this particular effect activates in the graveyard.
(So yeah, if you want to do the Swap combo, having Macro out helps.) --Pizzaman 13:54, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
