What it is to Duel[edit]
"To duel is not to beleive power, but in your cards."
I first heard this a few years ago, and it took me until this year to truely figure it out.
Before this year, I just put all my best cards in by Deck and just tried to overpower my enemy, a pitiful, and absolutely pathetic coy.
To duel is to beleive in your cards.
And unleash their potential.
About two months ago, we didn't have internet due to some money problems. During this time, I was incredibly bored, so I took my best cards and made a deck...
And I felt like something that died suddenly came back via Monster Reborn.
I started collecting again, and it was fun.
And it took me until a few weeks ago to truely realize that it's a card's Potential, not it's power that made it special.
To duel.... to beleive in yourself.... and most of all, to beleive in your cards, and their infinite potential, regardless of how weak they may be-
That is what it means to 'Duel'
Yu-Gi-Oh! RPG Forum[edit]
As of now, I have, a Yu-Gi-Oh! Roleplaying foru, which takes place in the real world, in our future, were Duel Monsters is as revered as it is in the anime and video games and mangas.
