Welcome!

For some time now I've been helping others construct their deck not to what exists in the meta, but what is best suited for them. As a start I left some few tips and deck ideas.

==DISCLAIMER== Information based on rules are directly sited from the KONAMI Yu-Gi-Oh! OFFICIAL RULEBOOK OR the Yu-Gi-Oh! OFFICIAL TRADING CARD GAME SITE only. The suggested ideas on this page are made only made by me and I hold every Copyright Claim on them. I do not condone the emulation of this page and will not be afraid to remove your account. NAH, I'm just joking, relax and enjoy the Deck rules and ideas. But seriously though, all of this is sited from both aforementioned citations.

Tips[edit]

  • For a Ritual Deck, try using the card reload. If you draw the desired spell Ritual card and use Reload, then there is a chance you can draw the ritual card as well as some tribute fodder.
  • Some may have argued about this, but it is true that you can activate any spell card (except Quick-Play Spell cards)from your field during the same turn you set them. The following is an actual rule from the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D'S OFFICIAL RULEBOOK VERSION 7.0: "Spell Cards can be Set face-down on the field like Trap Cards. However, the rules for the two types of cards are different. Spell Cards can be activated during the Main Phases even in the same turn that you Set them (except for Quick-Play Spell Cards). Setting them does not allow you to use them on your opponent's turn, they still can only be activated during your Main Phase. You can Set a Spell Card face-down on the field to bluff your opponent into thinking you have a powerful Trap."
  • Cards can be chained to the effect of another card that destroys them but does not negate them. For example, you can chain Waboku to the effect of Heavy Storm or Mystical Space Typhoon.
  • Solidarity, as good as it seems may be a bad choice in terms of decks that need outside support such as the Watts. Using Solidarity will lower the amount of space you have to place in important cards such as multiple Recycling Batteries and other staple.

attacked while face-down, its effect will not activate. Its effect would have to activate at the start of the Damage Step, before a face-down monster would be flipped face-up.)
