Does anyone have an idea to keep my Nature Hero deck from decking itself? Whenever a game gets dragged out I lose because of all the searching I did earlier in the game, or would it be better to find a way to go for a quicker win? NecroKingFaust 03:15, 15 April 2009 (UTC)

Nature Deck Help[edit]

Hey, Faust.

I do occasionally run into problems with Mill decks, but other than that, rarely do I fall below fifteen remaining cards in my deck when the duel is over.

I'm suggesting changing Wroughtweiler for King of the Swamp, as he does not take as many cards out of your deck and serves a dual-purpose (a fusion material or Polymerization).

I would really recommend running two or three Pot of Avarice in your deck, since most of your monsters will hit the graveyard for fusions. If you really want to play Field Spells, I would play either Skyscraper or Skyscraper 2, but not both. Skyscraper is prefered since you most likely want your big heros gaining attack on monsters such as Gorz and Judgment Dragon to keep a field advantage. Future Fusion is a card I personally do not like, as it usually becomes the target for Breaker and MST. R-Rightous is another good card to look for, as it has the potential to destroy more cards on the field (but can also destroy yours, as it has to destroy the exact number).

In traps, if you can, replace your Hero Barrier with Sakuretsu Armors or Bottomless Trap Holes. Better to destroy a foe if you can over keeping it on the field. Call of the Haunted, being banned, can be replaced with Monster Reborn (O - Oversoul does not work here). Hero Counterattack is usually not reliable, but if you have fun with it, use it. Scrap-Iron Scarecrow is also unreliable, as it will be targetted next turn of Dust Tornado, MST, et cetera. Try getting your hands on more Magic Jammers and Trap Jammers, if possible. Even better would be Dark Bribes or Solemns.

You can always side the cards you take out, especially the Field Spells.

So, my changes would be...

-1 Wroughtweiler/-3 Hero Barrier/-1 Call of the Haunted/-1 Hero Counterattack/-1 Scrap-Iron Scarecrow/-1 Skyscraper 2 - Hero City (and/or Skyscraper depending on your style of play)/-1 Future Fusion

+1 King of the Swamp/+1 Pot of Avarice/+2 Sakuretsu Armor/+2 Compulsory Evacuation Device/+1 Skyscraper (or Skyscaper 2 - Hero City if you want to play swarm .. or, 2 R - Rightous if you do not want to play with Field spells) /+1 Polymerization/+1 Lightning Vortex

You can also cut out one Heat, Lady Heat and Woodsman for Heavy Storm (or R - Righteous Justice), Magic Jammer and Trap Jammer. It depends if you want more backfield control, though.

By the way, do you pay the subscription to Crunchyroll and is it worth it? I was thinking about subscribing. --DarkSignerSpade 15:58, 22 April 2009 (UTC)

Lady Hero Burn[edit]

Hm...

It's a bit difficult, but can be done. There isn't exactly A LOT of support for Lady Heat, other than your standard Elemental Support Cards. On the topic of Dark Door, however, using in a combo with Skyscraper 2 - Hero City and Backfire causes your opponent to only attack one of your Lady Heats, only to then take 500 damage and furthermore have her reborn on your next turn. It's a great way to stall out your opponent. Spells and traps should be played to only inflict damage and keep your opponents from activating or summoning. With the Dark Door on the field, you can also make use of Solar Flare Dragon, as he is unable to be attacked if there is another Pyro-Type on the field. Two on the field, even without your Elemental Hero Lady Heat, can do 1,000 damage a turn and force your opponent to be unable to attack.

I suppose I would try to do this...

Burning Heat[edit]

FIRE FIRE FIRE

Heat grows with Lady Heat on the field and can take out anything too powerful that you worry about, and can be summoned quickly with Hero's Bond. E - Emergency Call grabs your Heroes and Stratos can also take out traps on the back-field. Meteor of Destruction and Ookazi quickly wear down your opponent's Life Points (a total of 3,600 if you play them all in a duel). Backfire deals 500 Damage whenever your Fire-Types are destroyed. Hero City brings them back when they are destroyed. The current meta, with focus of swarming the field, can be negated with a creative side-deck. Raging Flame Sprite can be replaced with just about anything,Gravity Bind and Level Limit - Area B can protect your life points. Other good cards to consider include King Pyron, Lava Golem and Fire Trooper. As for this deck, I ran a few test plays with it on YVD, and it performed fairly well. If you're really interested in burn, though, I would recommend Volcanics. Playing them a few times, they're far more effective and run better with themselves.

Sorry for posting so much, I have too much time to kill in school.
