TCG Rulings
- This effect targets the Synchro Monster to be Special Summoned.[1]
- You can remove from play Tokens or an Embodiment of Apophis that is being treated as a monster to activate this effect.[1]
OCG Rulings
- Removing from play "Unibird" and one other monster on your side of the field is an activation cost for the effect of "Unibird" which Special Summons a Synchro Monster from the Graveyard.[2]
- The effect of "Unibird" targets one Synchro Monster in your Graveyard.[2]
- You can remove from play a monster like a Token Monster or an "Embodiment of Apophis" as an activation cost for the effect of "Unibird". In this case, you will still Special Summon a Synchro Monster whose Level is equal to or lower than the combined Levels of "Unibird" and the removed from play monster.[3]
