I was curious if 0 ATK monsters could actually attack.

For example my opponent activated Ojama Trio, and then chained Battle Mania. Then when I was to battle with the tokens, he activated Metal Reflect Slime. So I would take 9000 LP damage. But I'm wondering if they could actually attack.69.62.238.116 (talk) 19:01, September 25, 2010 (UTC)

yes they can and when battling a monster that also has 0 atk neither one of them dies

You're half right. 0 ATK monsters can attack, but whenever 2 attack position monsters with the same ATK battle, they are both destroyed regardless of their ATKs. That's the only way a 0 ATK monster can destroy a monster by battle. When two attack position monsters with the same attack battle, the only way to one or both of them to not be destroyed by battle is by card effects like that of Kishido Spirit, Strong Wind Dragon and Kaiser Glider. Ex: My opponent have a face up Ojama Blue (0 ATK, 1000 DEF) in defense position and two face-down spell/trap card on the field. I summon Thousand Eyes Idol (ATK and DEF 0) in attack position, activate Continuous Spell Card Kishido Spirit (Attack position monsters you control cannot be destroyed by battle with attack position monsters your opponent control that have the same ATK), activates Normal Spell Card Stop Defense to change his monster to attack position, and attack his Ojama Blue. My opponent activates face down Mystical Space Typhoon to destroy my Kishido Spirit, then both monsters are destroyed and my opponent can pick up two Ojama cards or Ojamuscle from his deck to his hand since Ojama Blue was destroyed by battle. In the OCG, neither monsters will be destroyed. Currently, the TCG has it so that both are destroyed, but they're going to change it soon. See also, Forum:0 attack points. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 00:28, September 26, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, I thought that neither was destroyed. I was always curious why I couldn't destroy Reptilianne Naga is Stardust Accelerator. --Drew-Gi-Oh! (talk) 02:09, September 26, 2010 (UTC)

Well, I didn't knew about this fact in the OCG. You're certain it is this way there? And about Reptilianna Naga, her effects stops she from being destroyed by battle, regardless of the ATK of the opposing monster. You should ready the effects of your opponent cards too, y' know.
