- Note that you can still Set monsters first. To expand on how this is useful to avoid the condition restriction of using this card, consider the following options:
- Set a "Morphing Jar" as a way to replace your hand later or other cards with Draw effects that suit your deck style (e.g., "Dekoichi the Battlechanted Locomotive", "Broww, Huntsman of Dark World", "Skelengel", "Blizzed, Defender of the Ice Barrier", etc)
- Set a monster with an effect that makes it difficult to destroy (e.g., "Marshmallon", "Spirit Reaper", "Arcana Force 0 - The Fool", "Consecrated Light", etc).
- Set a monster with a searching effect to replace itself on the next turn when the condition restriction is over (e.g., "Giant Rat", "Mystic Tomato", "Super-Nimble Mega Hamster", "Gladiator Beast Hoplomus", "Cherry Inmato", almost any Gusto or T.G. monster, etc).
- Set a monster with a destructive or field-control card effect (e.g., "Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter", "Snowman Eater", "Fossil Dyna Pachycephalo", "Morphing Jar 2", etc).
- Here is a shortlist of monster cards that can be quickly added to your hand with this card, which can then be immediately Special Summoned if you already have the requirement to do so in your graveyard, banished zone or ready on the field:
