Soul Exchange could Tribute all of the opponent's monsters and did not require the player who activated it to skip his/her Battle Phase. In addition, summoning a monster with this card was counted as a Special Summon.
- In Yugioh Ep. 167 It had the following lore: Each player could choose a monster(s) on their opponents side of the field to sacrifice(for a special summon).
- Houten and Ida use this in Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Stardust Accelerator.
