(manga)|''Yu-Gi-Oh!'' manga]]. This chapter was originally printed in the [[Weekly Shōnen Jump]] magazine in Japanese. Its first English release was in the [[Shonen Jump]] magazine. It has been reprinted in [[Yu-Gi-Oh! - Volume 006|volume 6]] of the ''tankōbon'' and [[Yu-Gi-Oh! bunkoban - Volume 004|volume 4]] of the ''[[Yu-Gi-Oh! ===Before Amusement Outside Domino Park===The story begins with There is a newspaper that declares article, titled "Card Bomber Strikes Again!!" A rough translation of the what was shown on the article in the Japanese version is as follows: {{quote|[[Domino City (manga)|Domino]] - A bomb left in a Domino City department store randomly exploded, killing 8 people.  Once again the time of the bombing was announced previously by the bomber, who appears to be playing a game. The Domino City police department}} In the English version it read: {{quote|8 Die in Department Store Elevator Blast----Time and Place Announced on Playing Card! Editorial: Is The Bomber Playing a "Game"?!}} [[Yugi Mutou (manga)|Yugi]] reads the article frustrated that the [[Playing Card Bomber]] has struck again, making it the third time that this has happened. He explains to [[Anzu Mazaki (manga)|Anzu]], who is not interested, that the bomber sends a playing card as his calling card. He asks Anzu if she heard what he said, but she seems to be distracted by something. Yugi asks Anzu what is bothering her and she claims that nothing is wrong. In the Japanese version, she snidely says that they can't spend the entire day reading the morning paper or they will be out until dark. In the English version, she snidely asks if reading the morning paper is so much fun, why does't he spend the entire day reading it. In the Japanese, Anzu is frustrated that even took her so long to get Yugi out of the house for summer vacation fun. In the English version, she is frustrated that Yugi is acting like this on summer vacation, the one time she asked him Yugi out. ===Entrance===The two of them finally arrive at their destination, the amusement park, [[Domino Park (amusement park)|Domino Park]]. In the Japanese, Yugi realizes that this is what Anzu wanted him to see. In the English, he can't believe that Anzu asked him out. In both version, he stutters and tried to ask if they are on a date. At the gate the ticket attendant tells Yugi the ticket he is getting is for high school students and that he might want a grade school student ticket. Yugi gets annoyed and says that he is in high school, although he may not look it. Anzu is a bit embarrassed by Yugi's reaction. Anzu and Yugi enter the park. Yugi excitedly looks at the different rides and asks her which one they should go on first. Anzu makes a suggestion based on it being a hot sunny day and winks. ===Pool===[[File:YGO-045 Bikini Anzu.jpg|thumb|left|Yugi stares at Anzu in her bikini.]]Anzu and Yugi come down a water slide on a giant float. Anzu stands up and holds out her hand to help Yugi up and suggests that they ride it again. Yugi heart thumps as he stares at Anzu in her bikini. Anzu takes him by the hand and brings him up the stairs asking why he's staggering. Yugi blushes and thinks to himself that even the bomber would not stand the power of Anzu's "knockout dynamite body", or simply "dynamite body" in the English version. After the slide, the two of them start sunbathing on deck chairs. Anzu sweats in the heat and realizes how bright the sun is , causing her to feel strange. She looks at Yugi and to her surprise thinks she is seeing [[Dark Yugi (manga)|Dark Yugi]]. However he disappears when Yugi is sprayed in the face by a child with a criminal who announces water gun. Yugi gets up and angrily chases the child, waving his fist in the air. Anzu guesses seeing Dark Yugi was just her imagination. The ordinary Yugi, she feels is like a little kid and she starts to wonder what she can do to make Dark Yugi appear. A tanned muscular boy tries to hit on Anzu. He asks if she is alone and if she wants to ride the slide with him. Anzu gets an idea and thinks that Dark Yugi might appear if he thinks she is in danger. She screams that the boy talking to her is a pervert and asks for help. Unfortunately for her, a bunch of other boys come over and confront the boy. Yugi arrives and asks what happened. Anzu insists that nothing happened and rushes herself and Yugi off the scene, leaving the other guy get beaten-up as he tried to explain that he did not do anything. ===Evacuation===Anzu and Yugi go and ride on some other attractions, including a roller coaster. Yugi suggests that they ride the "Ultra Spin" next, but suddenly notices that the police are gathered around. The [[Chief|police chief]] orders an officer to have the park evacuated. He obeys and another officer reports that so far nothing suspicious has been found on the park grounds. The chief orders him to continue the investigation. The bomber's card said that the bomb was hidden in this amusement park and there isn't much time left until the time on the playing card. After the evacuation announcement is made, Yugi thinks that this is terrible and wonders if it is the same bomber that he has read about. He insists that he and Anzu get out of there. However Anzu says that it sounds exciting and thinks that this could be her chance to see Dark Yugi. The two of them get separated when a crowd of evacuees stampede past them. Shortly afterwards, an officer reports to the chief that there are only five minutes left until the time on the card. The chief's phone starts ringing and he answers it. On the other end, the places bomber laughs and says that he will tell him the location of the bomb. He says that the lives of three people already rest on this game, before saying where it is going . As Yugi searches for Anzu he hears her calling him from Ferris wheel. Anzu thinks that this should make Yugi anxious and maybe cause Dark Yugi to come out. The police arrive and note that there are three people on the Ferris wheel in cars #1, #3 and #13. Yugi points out that his friend is on the Ferris wheel and asks if there is something wrong. To his dismay, the chief says that there is a bomb through planted on the use ride. The bomber contacts the chief again. In the Japanese version, he asks if the chief brought the usual. In the English version, he asks if the chief brought brought what he asked for. The chief holds up a deck of cards and says that he did. ===Game===The bomber explains that the wheel takes ten minutes to turn. After the bomb will explode, but he offers them one chance to stop it and asks if they want to play a card game. If the chief is lucky the passengers will survive. The chief tells the other officers that the bomber challenged him to a card game and asks if anyone is good at card games. Yugi, who has now switched to Dark Yugi steps forward and says that he will do it. In the wheel, Anzu excitedly notices Dark Yugi came out and is still oblivious to the danger she is in.  Dark Yugi takes the phone and the chief recognizes him as the boy he had just spoken to. Dark Yugi greets the bomber and asks what game they will be playing . The bomber is a bit surprised that a kid will be playing the game, but is okay with it and says that they will be playing [[clock solitaire]]. The bomber explains some of the rules:* Take a standard deck of playing cards. Remove the jokers and shuffle the remaining 52.* Deal the cards into 13 piles of 4: 12 in a circle like a clock and 1 in the center.* The game is started by flipping over the top card in center pile. He then places it face-up under the 3:00 position. Next he turns over the top card on the 3:00 pile; the four of hearts. He places that face-up under the 4:00 position and turns over the top card of the 4:00 pile. Play continues in the same fashion with Dark Yugi turning over the ten of diamonds and four of diamonds. Continuing this way, Dark Yugi knows the cardswill look like a clock when they all get turned over, but wonders what this has to do with the bomber's plan. Eventually, Dark Yugi turns over the last of the fours, the four of spades. He places it under the other three completing the 4:00 pile. Suddenly car #4 explodes.  Dark Yugi now realizes that Anzu is in danger as she is in car #3 and 3 of the 4 cards for that point have been matched up. Dark Yugi vows that he must save Anzu no matter what. The bomber taunts Dark Yugi by asking him if he really thinks that he will be able to end this without hurting anyone. Dark Yugi suspects that the bomber is watching and triggering the bombs, but cannot figure out where he is.

[[Dark Yugi Muto|Yugi]] is reading the paper plays on and seems very interested. He is trying to get [[Téa Gardner|Anzu's]] attentioncollects all four eights, but she seems causing car #8 to be distracted by somethingexplode. Yugi asks Anzu what One of the police thinks that the game is bothering her and she claims that nothing over as one of the occupied cars is wrong, but she doesn't want bound to stand around and read explode sooner or later. The chief wonders how the paper all daygame can be won.

===Amusement Park Water Attractions===The two proceed Dark Yugi thinks to go to an amusement parkhimself. He knows the rules of clock solitaire and how it ends. Yugi is very excitedSince you start drawing from the center, once you turn over the fourth king, but then immediately starts wondering if they are on a datethere won't be anything left in that pile to turn over. He attempts to ask her but his stuttering is interrupted So by drawing the ticket attendant who tells him four kings the ticket game will end. He thinks this is what he just purchased is for high school seniors must do and that with two kings already, he only needs two more, but if he might want an elementary school student ticket. Yugi calls draws the attendant rude for assuming he was an elementary student based on his appearancelast three, Anzu will die.

As Anzu thinks about thisturns over the two of hearts, Yugi comments on completing the sun twos and Anzu decides they should go on the water slidecausing car #2 to explode. After they arrive at Eventually, he turns over the bottom king of the slideclubs, Anzu suggests they ride it again. Yugi agrees, but from the bottom all the way to the top of the slide he is staggering because of "Anzu's knockout dynamite body"leaving just one more.

After the rideWith twenty seconds until all bombs go off, the two are laying in the sunpolice panic. Anzu believes that she sees the [[Yami With five seconds left, Dark Yugi|other Yugi]] but he disappears when Yugi is shot in turns over the face with a water gunace of spades and plays on. Anzu wants With only time to see draw one more card, Dark Yugi gets the other Yugi so badly that when a guy tries to hit on her she screams that he is a pervert. Unfortunately for herfinal king, a bunch of other guys appear to beat completing the guy up 13:00 position and not ending the other Yugigame.

===The Card Bomber appears===Anzu and Yugi go and ride on With the other attractions. Howevergame over, before the "Ultra Spin", Yugi notices that police escort the police are gathered aroundpassengers to safety. It then cuts to Dark Yugi tells the [[police chief]] giving that he should find the order for everyone to evacuate the park bomber in car #13, disguised as the [[Playing Card Bomber|Card Bomber's]] clues point to the park being bombed near the current day and timea hostage. After His reasoning is that since it was the announcement is made, Anzu goes against Yugi's wishes only safe car and runs off, believing this is the perfect time to only place where someone could secretly see the other Yugicards.

Yugi finds that Anzu has gotten on the ferris wheel. Much to grabs Dark Yugi's dismay, the police tell him arm and suggests that the ferris wheel is rigged they get back with bombstheir date. Anzu just wants to see the other Although Dark Yugi so badly that she does not realize the danger that she is in. The Card Bomber wants to play a card game with a Deck of playing cards and the other Yugi steps in, much to Anzu's delightseem as enthusiastic.

This chapter is redone in [[Yu-Gi-Oh! First Series - Episode 014|episode 14]] of the [[Yu-Gi-Oh! (Toei anime series)|Toei ''Yu-Gi-Oh!'' anime]].

* The episode starts with a scene involving the police and the [[Playing Card Bomber|Card Continuous Bomber]] as opposed to [[Yugi MutoMutou (Toei)|Yugi]] and [[Téa GardnerAnzu Mazaki (Toei)|Anzu]]. It then goes to [[Domino HighSchool (manga)|Domino High School]] School where Yugi is with all his friends and not just Anzu. *The Card Bomber doesn't does not commit his crimes with playing cards in the anime. He is more of a person that just likes to play "games". This includes quiz questions. *In the anime, [[Miho Nosaka|Miho]], [[Joey WheelerKatsuya Jonouchi (Toei)|JounouchiJonouchi]] and [[Tristan TaylorHiroto Honda (Toei)|Honda]] overhear the plans for going to the waterpark water park and suspect it is a date. They end up going because Miho wants to go as well. *Jounouchi Jonouchi comments on Anzu's body instead of Yugi.* In the manga Anzu pretends to be in danger all day to no avail, hears about the bomber's warning, and goes on the Ferris wheel deliberately to make Dark Yugi come out. In the anime instead of she pretends to be in danger to no avail, goes to the Ferris wheel before the warning's put out to sulk over not seeing Dark Yugi, and is targeted by happenstance.* The game in the anime is different. It requires 13 balloons. The player choose a balloon to release and then a corresponding cart explodes. The way to win the game is to release a balloon whose color is not represented by a "Flower Clock".
