The Wrath of Rebecca is the 41st episode of the second series of Yu-Gi-Oh!. It introduced a new character, Rebecca Hawkins, an eight-year old protegy girl from America who demands the Blue-Eyes White Dragon from Solomon Muto. It aired in the United States on Kids WB! on October 12, 2002.
Episode Summary
In Pegasus' Castle, Yugi and his friends are reunited with Bakura and Mokuba. Croquet gives Yugi the check for the three million dollar prize, then Yugi gives it to Joey. Rebecca Hawkins vs. Yugi Motou
- Rebecca Summons Witch of the Black Forest.
- Yugi Summons Celtic Guardian. It destroys Witch of the Black Forest and drops Rebecca's Life Points to 1700, but the Witch's effect allows Rebecca to select 1 monster with up to 1500 DEF from her Deck and add it to her hand. She then reshuffles her deck.
- Rebecca Summons Sangan.
- Yugi destroys it, dropping Rebecca's Life Points to 1300, but Sangan has the exact same effect as Witch of the Black Forest except that she can move 1 monster with up to 1500 ATK points.
- Rebecca activates Tribute to the Doomed, discarding 1 card from her hand to destroy Celtic Guardian. She then Sets a monster.
- Yugi Summons Summoned Skull and attacks, revealing Rebecca's Set monster to be Millennium Shield, but since its DEF is 500 higher than Summoned Skull's ATK, Yugi's Life Points drop to 1500.
- Rebecca then equips Ring of Magnetism on Millennium Shield, decreasing its DEF by 500.
- Yugi passes.
- Rebecca Summons Cannon Soldier.
- Yugi orders Summoned Skull to attack Cannon Soldier, but the attack is redirected to Millennium Shield. Rebecca explains that while Ring of Magnetism is on the field, Yugi can only attack the equipped monster.
- Rebecca Summons Witch of the Black Forest and then Tributes it for Cannon Soldier's effect, doing 500 points of damage to Yugi. Rebecca can also move 1 monster from her Deck to her hand.
