- This card can be searched by "Infestation Infection", "Lucent, Netherlord of Dark World", "Sky Scourge Cidhels", "Chaos Zone", "World Legacy Monstrosity", "Deus X-Krawler", "Witch of the Black Forest", "Union Activation", and other generic searchers.
- This card can be Tribute Summoned with one Tribute using "Double Coston", "Steelswarm Genome" and "The First Monarch".
- Use "Steelswarm Genome" as Tribute for this card's Tribute Summon so you can use only 1 monster as tribute.
- If this card is in your graveyard, use "Recurring Nightmare" so you can retrieve this monster and another DARK monster with 0 DEF to your hand.
- Longhorn only needs 1 of the Tributes to be a Steelswarm monster to be able to activate his effect.
