• This card can be searched by "Single Purchase", "Temple of the Kings", "Soul Rope", "Resonator Engine", "Vampire Dragon", "Summoner Monk", "Dragunity Corsesca", "BOXer", "Frontline Observer", "Pyramid Turtle" and "Goblin Zombie".

• This card combos very well with "Shutendoji".

• A versatile card with many uses in a Zombie-Type Deck. If you have it in your Graveyard, you can use a powerful Zombie-Type monster as a discard cost for cards such as "Lightning Vortex" and then use the effect of "Mezuki" to get it on the field.

• You can get "Mezuki" into the Graveyard easily with cards such as "Foolish Burial", "Snipe Hunter", "Phoenix Wing Wind Blast",Chain Destruction" or "Hand Destruction".

• Reuse the effect of "Mezuki" with "Burial from a Different Dimension".

• "Mezuki" combos well with "Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter".

• This card's effect will activate the effect of any "Soul-Absorbing Bone Tower" currently on your field which will cause your opponent to lose two cards per "Bone Tower" since the effect of "Mezuki" allows a Special Summon of a Zombie-Type monster.

• This card can also be used well with "Zombie Master", discard "Mezuki" for the effect of "Zombie Master", then then use "Mezuki" to Special Summon another monster for an instant 2 monsters.

• Use this card after using the effect of "Sky Scourge Norleras" to Summon a powerful Zombie-Type monster, such as "Despair from the Dark".

• Use this card with "Plaguespreader Zombie" to Summon a Level 6 Synchro (works best with "Doomkaiser Dragon" or "Revived King Ha Des" but if "Zombie World" is on the field Summon something else). Then use the effect of "Plaguespreader", then Synchro it and the Synchro, to Summon "Stardust Dragon" or something else. Then banish "Mezuki" to Summon back the first Synchro.

• Even if you don't use it in a Zombie-Type Deck, by adding "Zombie World", you'll be able to revive nearly any monster in your Graveyard.

Traditional Format

• This card can be searched by "Witch of the Black Forest".

• A great card to use is "Future Fusion". You will get an "Elemental HERO Gaia" and you will send your "Mezuki" and an Elemental HERO to your Graveyard, such as "Elemental HERO Necroshade" or a LIGHT one for a "Chaos" Deck or even a specific one so you can return it to your hand with "The Warrior Returning Alive" or "Elemental HERO Ocean".
  • If you use "Zombie World" with the above combo, you'll be able to revive the "Elemental HERO".
