  • This card has a resemblance to Paradox.
  • This card's naming (regarding "eye/d") and effect to gain another monster's effect are similar to "Hundred Eyes Dragon".
  • This card is likely based off Date Masamune, a samurai that gained the title the "One-Eyed Dragon" due to his missing eye.
  • At first glance, this card appears to actually have two eyes, however he is most likely wearing a mask covering up his true face which most likely only has one eye.
  • This card is one of Yuma's Xyz Monsters that features anti-Xyz effects like the "Djinn"
  • The last part of this card's effect is similar to that of a typical Wind-Up monster, as it can only use it's effect once.
  • This is the first and currently only Xyz Monster that specifically states that it can only use its effect once. Cards like Number 6: Chronomaly Atlandis also can only be used once, but do not specifically state so in their card lores as with "Skill Gainer".
    • However, this restriction does make sense, because since it only copies Xyz Monsters, it will end up detaching the rest of its Xyz Materials through the copied effect.
