- Removing from play 1 Reptile-Type monster in your Graveyard to Special Summon this card is a cost.[1]
- This card’s effect to place 1 Hyper-Venom Counter on itself starts a chain when it inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent.[1]
- When 3 Hyper-Venom Counters are placed on this card, its controller wins the Duel as part of the resolution of the effect.[1]

For example, “Vennominaga the Deity of Poisonous Snakes” is unaffected by other Monster Effects and thus could not be destroyed, so “Cloudian - Poison Cloud” would not inflict damage in this case.
- Revived King Ha Des: If "Revived King Ha Des" or another Zombie-Type monster you control destroys... "Vennominaga the Deity of Poisonous Snakes" by battle, when their effects are activated they will be negated.
- Rise of the Snake Deity: You cannot activate this card if you do not have "Vennominaga the Deity of Poisonous Snakes" in your hand or Deck.
