"Metaphys Horus":

This is the 1st Synchro Monster to support Pendulum Monsters.
- Additionally, this is also the 1st Wyrm-Type Synchro Monster not to be part of the "Yang Zing" archetype.

All three of this cards effects are related to all three original Horus monsters effects.
- Its Normal Monster requirement reflects Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV6 in being unaffected by card effects since LV6 is unaffected by Spell Cards.
- Its Effect Monster requirement reflects Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV8 by negating the effect of another face-up card since LV8 can negate any Spell Card.
- Its Pendulum Monster requirement reflects Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV4 by taking control of another monster since LV4's control cannot be switched.
  - In addition to this, instead of hindering the effects of Spells like the original Horus Monsters did, this effect gains power from Spells. In this case, Pendulum Monsters.
