Manga depiction
OCG/TCG artwork
  • "Ryu" is the Japanese word for 'Dragon', while "Kishin" is a Japanese term meaning 'Fierce God'.
  • The ilustration in its artwork resembles its appearance when it was Summoned in the first duel between Yugi Muto and Seto Kaiba in the manga. It was also the first monster summoned by Kaiba, pitted against Yugi's "Blackland Fire Dragon".
