- This card can be searched via "Sangan", "Last Will", "Witch of the Black Forest", and "Mystic Tomato".
- This card works well in almost any Dark World Deck, because you can get back cards like "Morphing Jar" and Rigorous Reaver back from the Graveyard to keep discarding Dark World monsters.
- You could retrieve "Iron Blacksmith Kotetsu" which will help you get cards like "United We Stand" or "Mage Power" from the Deck for a big attack.
- "Night Assailant" works well in a Gravekeeper's Deck, since it usually has a number of Flip Effect Monsters, and is quite essential in recycling cards like "Gravekeeper's Spy".
- Discard Night Assailant for any card effects that require you to discard 1 card as a cost to activate Night Assailant's effect in addition to fulfilling the cost.
