- Yubel sounds like "Jubel" or "Übel", the German words for "elation" or "evil", respectively.
- Yubel's hair style resembles that of Yami Marik and Yami Bakura.
- This monster like its stronger counterparts has "Eyes" throught the parts of its body: "Yubel's Third Eye" on its forehead.
