- The card's name comes from 神 Kami, God and 雷 Kaminari, Thunder
- Yu-Gi-Oh! The Duelists of the Roses and World Championship (Video games) show the full body of "Kaminari Attack", and as its name suggests, the monster's appearance can be compared to Thor.
- This cared is also similar to most depictions of Zeus, the god of thunder in Greek mythology.
- This card bears resemblance to "The Immortal of Thunder".
