TCG Rulings
- "Honest's" effect is a Quick Effect.[1]
- "Honest's" effect does not target the LIGHT monster.[1]
- The ATK increase is equal to the ATK of the opponent's monster when "Honest's" effect resolves.[1]
- The ATK increases from the effects of multiple "Honest" are cumulative.[1]
- If you use "Honest's" effect to increase the attack of "Asura Priest" or "Cyber Twin Dragon", the ATK increase does not change when you battle a different monster.[1]
- After a monster has had its ATK increased by "Honest", when it is targeted by "Shrink", the monster's ATK becomes half its Original ATK, and then the ATK increase of "Honest" will be re-applied.[2]
Mentions in Other Rulings
- Prohibition: If ... "Honest" ... is declared with "Prohibition", it can be discarded with "Card Destruction" but it cannot be discarded to activate its effect.
OCG Rulings
- You can activate "Honest"'s effect at any time during or before Damage Calculation (but not after).[3]
- You can activate the effect in chain to "Injection Fairy Lily"'s effect.[3]
- "Honest" increases the monster's ATK by the ATK of the other monster at the time "Honest"'s effect resolves.[3]
- You can only have one chain during Damage Calculation. Thus, when "Injection Fairy Lily" uses her effect, you cannot activate "Honest"'s effect as a separate chain after "Injection Fairy Lily"'s effect resolves.[4]
- After a monster has had its ATK increased by "Honest", when it is targetted by "Shrink", the monster's ATK becomes half its Original ATK.[5]
