May 2021 Skill Rebalancing

The May 2021 Skill Rebalancing is the nineteenth Skill Rebalancing to go into effect in Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links. It was implemented with App Version 5.7.0, which became available some time between May 12, 2021 and May 15, 2021, while the texts were updated on May 19, 2021. It was announced alongside the May 2021 Forbidden/Limited List.

• "Check Out My Fusion!"
  • Can be used each time your Life Points decrease by 1500. Return 1 card from your hand to your Deck and add "Vehicroid Connection Zone" to your hand from outside of your Deck. This Skill can only be used once per turn and twice per Duel.
  • "We are strengthening some character-exclusive Skills to make them easier to use."

• "Pathway to Chaos"
  • Change 1 of the following monsters you control to the monster listed. If you are changing an Effect Monster, send 1 "Kuriboh" monster from your hand to your Graveyard.
    This Skill can only be used once per turn and twice per Duel.
    ● Monster that includes "Gaia The Fierce Knight" in its original card name: Black Luster Soldier
    ● Monster whose original card name is "Black Luster Soldier": "Black Luster Soldier - Super Soldier
  • "We are strengthening some character-exclusive Skills to make them easier to use."

• "Level Duplication"
  • Can be used when your Life Points are 3000 or lower, by revealing 1 monster card in your hand and selecting 1 monster on your field.
    The selected monster's Level will become equal to the Level of the monster you revealed until the end of the turn. This Skill can only be used once per Duel.
  • "Since Synchro and Xyz Summons can now be easily utilized without Skills that adjust a monster's Level, we're giving a harder activation condition to this Skill."

• "Level Augmentation"
  • Can be used when your Life Points are 3000 or lower, by revealing 1 monster card in your hand and selecting 1 monster on your field.
    The selected monster's Level will increase by the Level of the monster you revealed until the end of the turn. This Skill can only be used once per Duel.
  • "Since Synchro and Xyz Summons can now be easily utilized without Skills that adjust a monster's Level, we're giving a harder activation condition to this Skill."

• "Level Reduction"
  • Can be used when your Life Points are 3000 or lower, by revealing 1 monster card in your hand and selecting 1 monster on your field.
    The selected monster's Level will decrease by the Level of the monster you revealed until the end of the turn. (The minimum Level is 1.) This Skill can only be used once per Duel.
  • "Since Synchro and Xyz Summons can now be easily utilized without Skills that adjust a monster's Level, we're giving a harder activation condition to this Skill."

• "Titan Showdown"
  • Whichever player has double of more Life Points than the other takes double battle damage. If you don't have a Dinosaur-Type monster on your field, your opponent will not take double damage.
  • "This Skill is given a harder activation condition, as more cards that increase or decrease Life Points have been added to the game since the addition of the Skill."

• "Onomatoplay"
  • Return 1 "Zubaba," "Gagaga," "Gogogo," or "Dododo" card from your hand to the Deck and add 1 "Zubaba," "Gagaga," "Gogogo," or "Dododo" monster with a different name to your hand from the Deck. This Skill can only be used once per turn and twice per Duel.
  • "This Skill is given a harder activation condition, as more cards that help this Skill to end the Duel in a single turn have been added to the game."
