  • This card is best used as a finisher, so your opponent doesn't have a chance to use its effect.
  • A great way to have this card leave the field and therefore not able to be used against you would be to use "Emergency Provisions". It can send it to the graveyard and give you 1000 Life Points to boot.
  • Combine this card with "Hino-Kagu-Tsuchi" and sacrifice 2000 LP to normal summon him on the first turn. Attack with Hino and your opponent will have to discard all his cards. At the end of the turn Hino-Kagu-Tsuchi returns to your hand as he is a Spirit Monster but thanks to Mausoleum, you can summon him back next turn by just paying 2000 . This can form a weaker version of the infamous Yata Lockdown.
  • Summon "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" (Or any other Level 7 or 8 monster with high attack) with this card. Then equip it with "Megamorph" since you'll most likely have lower Life Points thanks to this card.
  • Unless you have some way of regaining Life Points, you can only summon a total of 3 two-tributers or 7 1-tributers, and even then, it will leave you quite vulnerable to the opponent's attacks. Thus you should consider some cards to regain Life Points if you decide to use this card often, or be selective with which monsters will benefit with this card.
  • A good way to regain life to use this card's effect multiple times is to run three (3) "Draining Shield". This will gain you LOTS of life if you negate a powerful monster's attack and it will buy you some time until you draw your bigger monsters.
  • Use "Life Absorbing Machine" to counteract this card's massive cost. If you can get three copies of Life Absorbing Machine, you can gain substantial lifepoints each time you summon a high level monster.
  • Playing this card, summoning a high-level monster, and then activating "Mystical Space Typhoon" or any other card that destroys spell and trap cards on it prevents your opponent from utilizing it if you only really want one monster.
  • Summoning "Guardian Angel Joan" with this card is a useful combo, as Joan's effect can pay the life point cost (same with other monsters that give you life points).
  • If there are no monsters on your opponent's side of the field you can use "Sebek's Blessing" with the monster you just summoned since it is probable that you use this card with monsters that have high attack points.
  • If you combine this card with at least 2 copies of "Life Absorbing Machine" and 1 "Ultimate Offering", you will be able to defy almost all the rules of normal summoning monsters, as you will be able to summon more than one high-level monster in a turn at no cost.
