The Gusta monsters are an Archetype released in Duel Terminal - Raid of the Inverz!!. Their name is based on the word "Gust" and their team symbol is a blue disc with a silver whirlwind.
All known Gusta monsters are WIND so they can use WIND Support cards such as "Spiritual Wind Art - Miyabi" and "Rising Air Current", and be special summoned by "Flying Kamakiri #1". The archetype is consisted of Winged Beast and Psychic-Type monsters, with the exception of "Gusta Thunbolt". The known Winged Beast-Type "Gusta" monsters are all Tuner Monsters and all of the Synchro Monsters have "Daigusta" in their names. Due to their need to send the "Gusta" monsters to the graveyard quickly, this Archtype can be paired with the "Lightsworn" Archtype.
This Archtype appears to focus around quickly summoning the "Gusta" Monsters, having them sent to the graveyard, and taking advantage of it. Examples of these advantages are shown below.
- "Calm, Silent Gusta" lets you shuffle 2 "Gusta" Monsters from your graveyard to your deck in order to draw 1 card.
- "Daigusta Eagles" can remove 1 "Gusta" monster in your graveyard from play to destroy one of your opponent's face down cards.
- "Daigusta Gardos" can return 2 "Gusta" monsters from your graveyard to your deck to destroy one face up monster your opponent controls.
- "Gusta Thunbolt" lets you remove 1 "Gusta" monsters in your graveyard from play when it's destroyed to special summon 1 Psychic-type "Gusta" monster with 1500 or less DEF from your deck.
- "Wynndarl, Sage of the Gusta" lets you special summon 1 level 3 or lower "Gusta" monster when it destroys a monster by battle and sends it to the graveyard.
- "A Prayer to Gusta" returns 2 "Gusta" monsters from your graveyard to your deck to special summon 1 "Gusta" monster from your graveyard.
- "Gusta Empathy" returns 2 "Gusta" monsters from your graveyard to your deck to destroy any card your opponent controls.
