- This card can be searched by "Dogu", "Single Purchase", "Obedience Schooled", "Vampire Dragon", "Giant Rat", "BOXer", "Front Observer", "Serpentine Princess", "Dragunity Corsesca", "Ninjitsu Art of Transformation", "Baby Raccoon Ponpoko", "Baby Raccoon Tantan", "Key Mouse" and "Super-Nimble Mega Hamster".
- You can banish him from your deck by using "Gold Sarcophagus" to allowing you to Special Summon a Level 4 or lower Beast-Type monster from your Graveyard. This works well in an "X-Saber" deck since you can Special Summon "XX-Saber Darksoul" or "X-Saber Airbellum".
- After, use "Unicorn Beacon", banish this card, then you can Special Summon 1 Beast-Type monster from each of the Graveyard and the Banished Zone.
- Use cards like "Necroface" and "Burial from a Different Dimension" to return this card so that it can be reused.
- This card can be brought back from the Banished Zone with "Elephun". When "Elephun" is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, you can select this banished card, and add it to your hand.
- Use cards like "Future Visions", "Interdimensional Matter Transporter" and "Different Dimension Gate" to banish this card face-up on the field in order to use its effect.
- When this face-up card is attacked, you can activate "Slip of Fortune" to banish this card, negate the attack and use the effect of "Dark Desertapir" to Special Summon a level 4 or lower Beast-type monster from your Graveyard, so during your Standby Phase, you will have "Dark Desertapir" back to the field and the Special Summoned monster.
- You can use this card effect if you banish it with "Madolche Hootcake" without missing the timing.

- This card can be searched by "Sangan", "Witch of the Black Forest", "Rescue Cat" and "Last Will".
- Use this card to reuse the effect of "Rescue Cat".
