Card Trivia:T.G. Recipro Dragonfly
Revision as of 20:38, 3 June 2013 by 209.6.71.251 (talk)
- This card is the second Insect-Type Synchro Monster to be released. The first was "Underground Arachnid", which originally debuted as a Dark Synchro Monster in the anime.
- This card and "Formula Synchron" are tied for the lowest level of Synchro Monsters in the OCG/TCG.
- This is the only "T.G." Insect-Type Monster.
- This card's effect is very similar to "De-Synchro", but is restricted to "T.G." Synchro Monsters only.
- This card's effect is geared specifically towards Delta Accel Synchro Summoning "T.G. Halberd Cannon" and "Shooting Quasar Dragon".
- The "recipro" in this card's name is short for "reciprocate", which can mean "to return", or "to oscillate", a reference to this card's effect to Special Summon Synchro Material Monsters after they have been used.
- Since there are no Level 1 non-Tuner "T.G." monsters in the OCG/TCG, this is the only "T.G." Synchro Monster that cannot be Summoned by using only "T.G." monsters, whereas in the anime, Antinomy would use "T.G. Cyber Magician" and "T.G. Drill Fish to Synchro Summon "T.G. Recipro Dragonfly", but "T.G. Drill Fish has not been released yet.
- This card and "T.G. Hyper Librarian" are the only "T.G." Synchro Monsters that don't have any Synchro-Summoning requirements.
- On some, not all, of the First Edition of this card, the attribute symbol says "Vento" (which means Wind) instead.
