Forum:My Blackwing Deck by RainClaw

Okay i have a Blackwing deck and its decent, but not all that good so what im asking is not to say "Oh, This Deck SUCKS!" or "Add Cards like..." some cards that are rare. tell me some common good back ups.

First off: just because it has Blackwing in it's name or text does not mean that it's good. See Forum:Deck Guide/General and sign your posts. Take out Seven Tool of the Bandit. Just use Mystical Space Typhoon. Take out Divine Wrath because it's not very good this format. Blackboost is a -1 that is very hard to use. take it out. Blackwing - Backlash isn't good because it's situational. Take it out. Black Thunder is terrible because it gives you a -1 to inflict a small amount of damage. Fake Feather is bad because it's a -1. Negate Attack is bad for the same reason. Magic Cylinder as well. Add Solemn Judgment, Torrential Tribute, Trap Dustshoot, and Solemn Warning/Dimensional Prison. Pot of Greed is Banned. Cards for Black Feathers is bad. Take it out. Follow Wind is terrible. Raptor Wing Strike is bad. Solidarity doesn't work in Synchro decks. Swords of Revealing Light is bad. Lightning Vortex is not good. Add Dark Hole, Heavy Storm, two or three Pot of Duality, Foolish Burial, Black Whirlwind, and two or three Mystical Space Typhoon.

Blackwing - Gale the Whirlwind is Limited, so take one out. Blackwing - Abrolhos the Megaquake is bad. Take it out. Blackwing - Ghibli the Searing Wind is bad, so take it out. Blackwing - Gust the Backblast is situational, although it might work. Blackwing - Fane the Steel Chain is useless. Blackwing - Calima the Haze is useless. Blackwing - Elphin the Raven isn't terrible but it's not worth using either. Blackwing - Brisote the Tailwind isn't very good. Add Blackwing - Kalut the Moon Shadow. Add three Effect Veiler or Thunder King Rai-Oh and Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning (if you can afford them). Add Plaguespreader Zombie, two Armageddon Knight, one or two Dark Grepher, and two Blackwing - Vayu the Emblem of Honor. Take out Blackwing - Silverwind the Ascendant (too costly to summon in most decks) and Black-Winged Dragon (just plain bad). Add Scrap Dragon, Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier, Dark End Dragon, Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier, Ally of Justice Catastor, and Black Rose Dragon]].

I like Cards for Black Feathers. The drawback's redundant with PoD and it helps draw into DAD. What you're suggesting is a blend of Vayu Turbo and standard crows, which might work, I guess. 207.233.120.2 (talk) 17:31, October 13, 2011 (UTC)

I don't really understand what you're saying about the drawback being redundant. It has the same drawbacks as Duality but you have to have two cards in your hand to use it (itself and a Blackwing) meaning that it's not a good card to draw late-game, whereas drawing a Duality late game can save you from defeat. The blend works better than other Blackwing decks, especially if you're factoring in the fact that Shura Special Summons Vayu, allowing you to Synchro Summon a Level 5 (Vortex, Catastor, or Librarian), and that Dark Grepher is already useful for Blackwings but alone gets you a powerful monsters. I didnt say i wasnt going to change it! holy crap chill out dude, and the one thing i dont like about people on this wiki is that they cant judge a deck by the cards inside(unless they all have nothing to do with each other!) but other than the fact this deck is pretty good and im just gonna say i dont like people who make me ANGRY! so chill out and make so nice comments about it like its strengths and weaknesses not how much you think it sucks!--RainClaw (talk • contribs) 13:38, October 14, 2011 (UTC)

You asked for help, and I gave it. I'm not just judging by the inside, I'm looking at the finished product and finding faults. I will duel you if you wish, at any time, and I will beat this deck.
