- Set "Evoltile Westlo" If you don't have any Level 6 Dinosaur-Type, activate "Fossil Dig" to search for a level 6 Dinosaur-Type, when "Evoltile Westlo" is flipped, Special Summon "Evolsaur Elias". Then, use its effect to Special Summon level 6 Dinosaur-Type from your hand. Finally, overlay Elias and the Level 6 Dinosaur-Type to Xyz summon this card.
- Another good choice to Xyz for this card is "Jurrac Herra". If you have more than one in your hand, or graveyard, you can bring them both out at once. (with additional effects depending on what you had in defense. "Jurrac Gallim" for example.) Then just Xyz for 6 when your turn comes around.
- Play "Dark Hole" or "Torrential Tribute" while this card has Xyz Materials to destroy all cards except this.
- TCG: Since "Evolzar Solda" is an optional trigger, you can activate its destruction effect before the opponent can retain his/her ignition priority.
