Card Trivia:ZW - Unicorn Spear

- This is the first "Zexal Weapon" monster released. The second is "ZW - Phoenix Bow".
- This card's effect to equip itself to "Number C39: Utopia Ray" from the hand is similar to that of the "Inzektor" monsters.
- This card's effect-negation effect is the same as "Rainbow Veil".
- This card is the first and only card to change a monster's ATK or DEF by specifically 1900.
- While this card is called a Unicorn, it looks more like an Alicorn since in addition to having a horn on its head, it has wings on its back.
- This is similiar to how "Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus" is also an Alicorn but named a Pegasus instead.
- This is the last Yu-Gi-Oh card (alphabetically).
- This card's effect may reflect to a unicorn's powers in myths. In legends, it is claimed that a unicorn's horn can neutralize poisons. This may reference to this card's ability to neutralize monster effects during the Battle Phase(Monster effects that are active during the Battle Phase usually either stop your attacks or prevent them from destroying your opponent's attacks).
