- This monster appears in the artwork of "Break the Cycle".
- This card gains its name from the Sombrero Galaxy (also known as M104 or NGC 4594); an unbarred spiral galaxy in the constellation Virgo located 28 million light years from Earth.
- This is the 1st non-Xyz "Constellar" monster to be named after a galaxy.
- This is probably why this card looks closely similar to "Constellar Virgo".
- This monster is the humanoid version of "Constellar Ptolemy M7", as it sports similar wings and the ability to return a monster to its owner's hand.
- This card has a parallel effect to that of "Evilswarm Kerykeion".
- Several weapons/features belonging to other "Constellar" monsters are seen encircling this card.
- This monster and "Evilswarm Kerykeion", are the result of the gathering of power to defeat the threat of "Sophia, Goddess of Rebirth" depicted on "Constellar Star Cradle". This could explain why "Gem-Knight Seraphinite" is shown on that card, and why Sombres looks like it.
