The Xyz monster "number C39: Utopia ray v." it has an effect that reads: If this card has "utopia" monster as Xyz material it gain the following effect". Can My opponent Xyz Summoned "number C39: Utopia ray v." by overlaying it on top of a utopia monster?96.44.92.186 (talk) 14:23, June 3, 2013 (UTC)
- Yes, if "Number C39: Utopia Ray V" is Xyz Summoning while you used "Utopia" as a Xyz Material, then the rest of Ray V's effect is unlocked and be able to activating that way. --iFredCat 14:25, June 3, 2013 (UTC)
- I believe he's trying to ask if he can perform the old Chaos Xyz Change like the original Number C39: Utopia Ray. Unfortunately, unlike Utopia Ray and Shark Drake Veiss, Utopia Ray V does not have the line that says "You can also Xyz Summon this card using a "Utopia" monster you control as the Xyz Material", so you can't simply place Utopia Ray V on top of Utopia straightaway. You'll need to use the Rank-Up-Magic cards to get them out in that fashion. --Gadjiltron (talk • contribs) 14:33, June 3, 2013 (UTC)
- Well, sorry for not saying the full details - but you're right, "Utopia Ray V" would required "Rank-Up-Magic" card to Xyz Summon and I am only saying that his effect can only unlocked if he had "Utopia" as his Material. I didn't say that he can Xyz Summon without RUM card... But again, my apologize for being duped. --iFredCat 16:14, June 3, 2013 (UTC)
