- This card is the Cover Card for Structure Deck 13: Revival of the Great Dragon and Structure Deck: Rise of the Dragon Lords.
- This card appears in the artwork of "Trade-In" and "Grave of the Super Ancient Organism".
- This card name possibly combining the words "Fell" and "Grant" very identical to his effect in which he is 'granted' ATK from the 'fallen' Monster.
- This card's name could also be a combination of "Fell" and "Grand" fell could be a reference to it only being Special Summoned from the graveyard and "Grand" possibly meaning it being a grand dragon.
- This card's name could also reference to the fact It is stronger when summoned from the Graveyard, hence "Fell-Grand".
- "Herald of Creation" is styled after this card.
- The design of "Hunter Dragon" is possibly based on "Felgrand Dragon" and "Darkblaze Dragon".
- It appears that some Dragunity monsters have been inspired in this card.
- This is the only one of the 3 Dragon Lords that is not a FIRE monster, instead, it is a LIGHT Monster.
