In the Japanese anime, Maximillion Pegasus plays this card as a Continuous Trap Card; however, there is no lemniscate symbol present on the card.
In episode 36, Pegasus uses this card during his Duel against Yami Yugi. When Yami Yugi sets "Horn Imp", Pegasus activates this card to flip "Horn Imp" into face-up Defense Position. "Toon Summoned Skull" then attacks and destroys "Horn Imp". This card's last effect then inflicts damage to Yugi equal to half the DEF of "Horn Imp". In the next episode, this card was still Face-Up on the Field and still continued to cause some problems for Yami Yugi since it forced him to play his monsters in Attack Position. This problem remained until part-way through the episode in which it disappeared without explanation although Yugi using "Living Arrow" to copy "Magical Neutralizing Force Field"'s effect might have contributed to this card's destruction.

In episode 92, Pegasus uses this card during his Triangle Duel against Vellian Crowler and Jean-Louis Bonaparte. He Banishes this card from the top of his Deck in order to activate the second effect of "Toon Kingdom" and prevent "Toon Dark Magician Girl" from being destroyed in battle by "Toy Emperor"; however, Pegasus still takes Battle Damage from the attack.
