- In Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel 148 (Duelist Duel 89): "The God of the Obelisk", Seto Kaiba played "Invitation to a Dark Sleep" in Defense Position against the Duel Computer. The computer refrained from attacking as "Invitation to a Dark Sleep" would put its monster to sleep, as was its manga effect. Kaiba later Tributed it to use "Obelisk the Tormentor's" effect.
