- This card can be Tribute Summoned with one Tribute using "Double Coston".
- If you Summoned this card without Tribute, and then "Skill Drain" is later activated, the ATK and DEF are no longer halved. If "Skill Drain" is later destroyed, the ATK and DEF still remain at 2800 and 2000.
- This card also works well with "Metamorphosis" due to its high level.
- Due to its high level, this card can be used to deal moderate damage using "Dark Strike Fighter's" effect.
- This card works well with "The Calculator".
- If this monster is Set, its ATK and DEF are not halved while face-down, making it an ideal Tribute for "Deck Devastation Virus" or "Eradicator Epidemic Virus".
- Use with "Ectoplasmer" and inflict 1400 damage.
- Using Miniaturize or Shooting Star Bow - Ceal on this card will allow you to use Machine Duplication to get two more without halved attack. He may also be Tributed for Crush Card Virus with this combo.
- You can use "Alchemy Cycle", "Machine Duplication" and "Limiter Removal" to dish out a ton of damage with your 2 new "Fusilier Dragon, the Dual Mode Beast".
- Get 2 Tributes for this card by Special Summoning The Tricky, and discarding Plaguespreader Zombie to revive it, as if you were trying to bring a Level 7 Synchro
- This card can be used with "Future Visions" for a great advantage. The ATK of Fusilier will reset upon returning to the field, allowing you to summon it at full attack with no tributes.
- Since this monster may be Summoned without Tribute, but has a penalty, you may combo him with Reasoning or Monster Gate to Special Summon Fusilier Dragon from your Deck without Tribute by effect. Beast King Barbaros also works in this combo, although it may be Summoned with 1900 ATK, what should not be a disadvantage.
- The above combo works greatly well in a high-level Aggro Deck, together with Ancient Gear Gadjiltron Dragon, and Des Volstgalph.
