- This card can be searched via "Sangan", "Last Will", "Witch of the Black Forest", "Magician's Circle", and "Mystic Tomato".
- You can perform a OTK with this card. See: Magical Scientist Deck.
- Magical Scientist's effect is not limited, so you can pay any number of Life Point's by the thousands, for example; you can pay 2000 Life Points to summon 2 level 6 fusion monsters.
- Use this card's effect to easily summon Dark Flare Knight to get Mirage Knight on the field.
- You can use this card to summon Thousand-Eyes Restrict, absorb a monster, and then at the end of the turn when Restrict returns to the fusion deck, the absorbed monster will be destroyed.
- You can use this card the same way you would use Mausoleum of the Emperor, provided that you have enough fusion monsters in your extra deck.
- To summon Sorcerer of Dark Magic more easily, use this card's effect to summon 2 Sanwitch.
- You can use this card in conjunction with One for One and any Level 2 Tuner Monster to possibly perform a first turn win. Once you Special Summon the Scientist via One for One, you can use its effect to Special Summon a Level 5 Fusion Monster and then Synchro Summon Dark Strike Fighter. Then, thanks to the Scientist, you can repeatedly Summon Level 5 or 6 Fusion Monsters and Tribute them to Dark Strike Fighter in order to deal multiple Direct Damage to your opponent, ending by Tributing the Scientist and Dark Strike Fighter.
