DescriptionEdit
Lots of new and notable Pendulum Monsters have been released for the "Performapal" and "Odd-Eyes" archetypes!
Other new archetypes include "Vaylantz," which wields Pendulum Monsters and manipulates cards' positions to set the stage for victory, and "Scareclaws," frightening beasts that rely on Link Monsters and offensive effects!Odd-Eyes Pendulumgraph Dragon
A Level 7 Ritual/Pendulum Monster that adds brand-new tactics to "Odd-Eyes" Decks.
There are two ways to Special Summon this monster. You can use either a Ritual Spell Card to perform a Ritual Summon, or use Pendulum Monsters to Pendulum Summon it from your hand.
Its monster effect also deals 300 damage to your opponent whenever they Special Summon a monster from their Extra Deck. This could deal a lot of damage to an opponent who relies on Synchro or Xyz Summons, or other tactics that successively Summon monsters from the Extra Deck.
Beyond the Pendulum
A Link 2 Monster that can be Link Summoned using 2 Effect Monsters including a Pendulum Monster.
When this monster is Link Summoned to the Extra Monster Zone, you can pay 1200 LP to take one Pendulum Monster from your Deck and add it to your hand. Although monster effects are blocked until a Pendulum Summon is completed on the turn this effect is used, if performed successfully, it will open up new avenues of attack. This monster is a breath of fresh air for Decks that rely on Pendulum Summons!
Scareclaw Tri-Heart
A Link 3 Beast-Warrior-Type Link Monster that is the new "Scareclaw" archetype's ace card.
While this monster is in the Monster Zone, other face-up monsters on the field switch to Defense Position. Also, this monster is not affected by effects activated by monsters in Defense Position. It is a powerful monster that is difficult to handle without using Spell or Trap Cards, or Link Monsters (that cannot be in Defense Position).
Also take note that this monster has an extra effect usable when it is in the Extra Monster Zone.
Mamonaka the Vaylantz United
A Level 10 Fusion/Pendulum Monster that serves as the driving force of the new "Vaylantz" archetype.
It has the peculiar trait of being able to draw on tactics that make use of Card Zone columns. You can target one of your opponent's Effect Monsters in their Main Monster Zone and immediately move it into the same column of the Spell & Trap Zone. Activating this effect when your opponent deploys a monster in the same column as a Spell or Trap Card, and it will destroy that Spell/Trap as well as nullify the monster's threat. Take advantage of this effect to force your opponent to fight at your pace!
Visas Starfrost
A Level 6 Warrior-Type monster with two effects.
If there is a monster face-up in your Monster Zone whose Type and Attribute differ from those of this monster, then you can destroy that monster to Special Summon this card from your hand.
It can also be used as a Tuner for Synchro Summons, and can gain ATK by destroying a monster in battle. An eye-catching monster that can thrive in a variety of situations!
