Gold Sarcophagus of Light is a series of cards consisting of "Gold Sarcophagus of Light" and cards that mention it first introduced in Legacy of Destruction. They are retrained counterparts of cards used by Yugi Muto during his climactic final duel against Yami Yugi in the Rite of the Duel in the Yu-Gi-Oh! manga and anime series.
Design
Each card in the series is either a retrained counterpart of a card that Yugi played during the Rite of the Duel, or inspired by a strategy that Yugi used against Atem. Each card in the series is visually distinguished by having brilliant gold sparkles in their backgrounds.
